Anthony obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree and a Post Graduate Certificate in Laws from the University of Hong Kong. Anthony is admitted to practice as a Solicitor in Hong Kong in 1995, as a Solicitor in England and Wales and as an Attorney and Counselor-in-Law in the State of New York, USA. Anthony has been appointed as a China-Appointed Attesting Officer and a Notary Public. He is also an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (East Asia Branch) and a Fellow Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Arbitrators. The former Chief Justice of the Hong Kong Court of Final Appeal the Hon Andrew Li GBM, JP appointed him Member of the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal Panel.
Anthony is the Principal of Anthony Siu & Co Solicitors & Notaries. He specializes in civil and criminal litigation and arbitration and has substantial experience of handling application for world wide Mareva injunction, committal order, judicial review, high profile complex commercial crime, personal injury claims and defamation claims. He is also specialized in laws and regulations governing the export of Hong Kong restrained textiles to European and US market including the relevant quota system and import and export regulation, country of origin certification system and other relevant international trade practices.
