Prof. Law obtained his Diploma in Business Study from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 1999 and a Master of Business Administration, Leicester University, UK in 2005. He was conferred with an Honorary Doctorate in Law by SABI University, France in 2017 and completed his Master of Law, Reman University of PRC in 2018.
Prof Law is an experienced international business consultant and expert of dispute resolution. He has more than 30 years of experience in Public Administration Management, Human Resources, Conflict Management and corporate development. He has expertise in organizational development, capacity development, leadership development, performance management and executive coaching.
He is the President of Hong Kong Mediation Centre (HKMC), the Founding Chairman of Mainland – Hong Kong Joint Mediation Center (MHJMC), the Founding Chairman of the International Dispute Resolution and Risk Management Institute (IDRRMI), President of the Academy of International Dispute Resolution and Professional Negotiation (AIDRN), Chairman of the Hong Kong International Mediation Centre (HKIMC) and the Chairman of the Hong Kong Centre of International Commercial Arbitration(HKCICA), Vice Chairman of the Asia Pacific Centre for Arbitration and Mediation (APCAM). Chairman and CEO of International Professional Advocates Association (IPAA), Vice-Chairman of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau Mediation Alliance GHMMA), Chairman of the National Copyright Protection (Hong Kong) Centre. Prof Law was appointed to be the representative of the accredited Organization of the World Trade Organization (WTO) Ministers’ conference, Observer of the United National Committee of International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) and UN Mediation Convention Promotional Group Experts Representative.
Prof. Law is currently the adviser to the Ombudsman of HKSAR Government and the Expert Adviser to the Secretary for Justice of HKSAR Government in Legal and Dispute Resolution Services.
To commemorate his service, the Hong Kong SAR Government bestowed Prof. Law with a Certificate of Commendation in 2017.
