Boris graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Laws (PCLL). He was admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong in 2017.
Boris has extensive experience handling a wide range of contentious legal matters across all court levels in Hong Kong. His primary practice areas include litigation and dispute resolution, matrimonial and family law, and general commercial matters. He has been recognized as one of the winners of the inaugural LexisNexis® 40 UNDER 40, a prestigious industry accolade that honors 40 young lawyers in Greater China for their outstanding potential and leadership in advancing the legal profession.
Boris was selected under the Hong Kong SAR Government’s Member Self-recommendation Scheme for Youth and has been appointed to significant public roles, including Co-opted Member of the Community Care Fund Task Force (2023-2024), Co-opted Member of The Board of Management of The Chinese Permanent Cemeteries (2022-2024), and Committee Member of the Family Council (2022-2023).
In addition to his public appointments, Boris actively contributes to community service and professional associations. He serves as a Committee Member of the Small and Medium Firms Committee of The Law Society of Hong Kong, Honorary Legal Advisor of Christian Family Service Centre, Assessment Panel Member for Qualification Recognition Review of Social Workers Registration Board, and Honorary Advisor of General Union of Hong Kong Accounting Professionals and Staff. He has also held various leadership roles in Junior Chamber International (JCI), including National Youth Development Director (2024) and National Sustainable Development Commission Vice Chairman (2021) of JCI Hong Kong, China, and Honorary Legal Advisor (2022), Honorary Secretary (2020), and Youth Affairs Director (2019) of JCI Lion Rock.
Boris was invited as a special guest on Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB)’s program “Table For Three And More” to discuss legal and ethical issues surrounding the documentary “To My Nineteen-Year-Old Self.” He has also shared his expertise as a speaker at a seminar organized by the School of Public Health and Primary Care at CUHK, covering topics on estate management, wills, and enduring powers of attorney.
For other qualifications, Boris is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), a FIFA Licensed Football Agent, and a Certified ESG Planner (CEPR) accredited by the International Chamber of Sustainable Development.
