.SH DESCRIPTION
The
.B dvd-ram-control
command controls DVD-RAM disk modes of block reallocations and write
protections. This utility will work only with DVD-RAM recorders.

.BI \-arre
Sets automatic read reallocation enabled (ARRE) bit so that automatic
reallocation of defective data blocks is used during read operation.

.BI \-awre
Sets automatic write reallocation enabled (AWRE) bit so that automatic
reallocation of defective data blocks is used during write operations.

.BI \-rdonly
Makes disc to be write protected.

.BI \-rdwr
Makes disc to be unprotected.
