<title>设备驱动实用程序概述</title>
<para>设备驱动实用程序是一个应用程序，可提供有关安装了 Oracle Solaris 操作系统 (Operating System, OS) 的本机系统设备的信息。使用设备驱动实用程序，您可以连接到映像包管理系统 (Image Packaging System, IPS)，并为没有连接驱动程序的设备搜索设备驱动程序。IPS 是 Oracle Solaris OS 软件包的系统信息库。您可以在此系统信息库中为设备找到合适的驱动程序。使用“设备驱动实用程序”应用程序可以实现以下功能：</para>

<title>设备驱动实用程序界面</title>
<para>启动系统时，设备驱动实用程序会自动开始在系统上运行。如果设备驱动实用程序发现任何缺少的驱动程序，会在桌面上进行通知。可从系统信息库自动安装缺少的驱动程序。

<para>要手动调用设备驱动实用程序，请在 Oracle Solaris OS 桌面上单击 "Applications"（应用程序）->"System"（系统）->"Device Driver Utility"（设备驱动实用程序）。此时将显示 "Device Driver Utility"（设备驱动实用程序）窗口，如下图所示。

"Types"（类型）栏显示设备类别名称。设备将按音频、CPU、DVD、内存、网络、存储、USB、视频和其他进行归类。如果您使用的是手提电脑，会有一个“电池”类型显示手提电脑的电池信息。"Device"（设备）栏会显示对应于每一个设备类型的控制器和设备名称列表。"Driver"（驱动程序）栏会显示每一个设备的现有驱动程序的名称或状态。如果系统中存在适用于相应设备的驱动程序，则会显示该设备驱动程序的名称。否则，会显示驱动程序的状态。
